Looking for a creative activity to keep the kids off their devices this half-term? Come and join our cartoon drawing and illustration workshops where your child will explore classic cartooning and illustration techniques, develop confidence to talk about their art and produce a number of drawings to take away. Spaces are limited to 12. Booking is essential. Where? The Art Studio 10 St Peter's Road, Burgess Hill RH15 8JP When? Wednesday 25 October 13.00 - 15:00 for ages 11 -16 but these age boundaries are only a guide. Please contact us if you feel your child would be more suited for the children's workshop for 6 - 10 year olds. This is a fun and lighthearted workshop suitable for children/teens of all levels of drawing ability. My gently paced, step-by-step tuition emphasises positive reinforcement and confidence building whilst encouraging creative, analytical and visual presentation skills to complement the National Curriculum in Art & Design. This is a great way to introduce your child to the fundamentals of drawing technique in a safe and inclusive environment with other like-minded teens. Each session covers topics such as planning, sketching and drawing classic figures and scenes from Japanese manga and anime. Upon booking you will receive a confirmation email with a request to complete an online Registration Form.
