Monday Cartooning Course for Children

Service Description

Children's Cartoon Drawing Classes in Burgess Hill for 7 -10 year olds. PLEASE NOTE: You can only book this course prior to the start date. If the course has already started please email us at danny@dannykingtonart.com to check availability. Come along and enjoy an hour of drawing and laughter in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. No previous drawing experience necessary. During the session your child will learn how to cartoon and caricature the world around them. They will be introduced to figurative drawing techniques, basic principles of expression, form and tone that will encourage their artistic development and bring their drawings to life. Course structure (please note that the order in which some sessions run may be subject to change): 1. My imaginary world! Drawing a famous cartoon character 2. Funny faces, arms and legs 3. Animals- a magical world of dragons, unicorns (and maybe some llamas)! 4. Making your own cartoon strips 5. Introduction to Japanese Anime-Manga including Chibi 6. lmaginary landscapes and objects Advanced booking is essential as places are limited. All drawing materials and a personal portfolio will be provided. Times: 16:30 - 17:30 with classes aligned to school term-times. Location: The Art Studio St Peters Road Burgess Hill RH15 8JP
