Saturday Teen's Cartoon Drawing Course

Service Description

Teens' Cartoon Drawing Classes in Burgess Hill for 11 -16 year olds. PLEASE NOTE: You can only book this course prior to the start date. If the course has already started please email us at danny@dannykingtonart.com to reserve your place. Come along and enjoy an hour of drawing and laughter in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. No previous drawing experience necessary. During the session your teenager will learn how to cartoon and caricature the world around them. They will be introduced to figurative drawing techniques, principles of expression, form and tone that will encourage their artistic development and bring their drawings to life. This is a great course for anyone wishing to learn how to draw, develop existing skills and improve their illustration techniques in time for GCSEs. Course structure (please note that the order in which some sessions run may be subject to change): 1. Figure drawing - sci-fi and superheroes 2. Character and expression - classic cartoon stars 3. Fantasy beasts 4. Cartoon strips and story boarding 5. The art of Japanese Manga-Anime 6. Caricaturing the rich and famous Advanced booking is essential as places are limited. All drawing materials and a personal portfolio will be provided. Times: 10:45 - 11:45 with classes aligned to school term-times. Location: The Art Studio St Peter's Road Burgess Hill RH15 8JP
